They need to relaunch this game
Best game so far. Hope day humanity will evolve and will be able to complete such hardcore mmo with ease.
Great vid, I'm on a Wildstar video binge.. I'm miss it a lot, wish I could have played more.
Not much I have to say about Wildstar that isn't positive. I loved the general, overall quirkiness of the game a lot but I think the thing I enjoyed the most was the housing. I spent SO much time on different toons coming up with different themes for my housing areas; was even creating the city of Defiance from the Syfy show on one toon. I regret that I didn't get video footage of not just my own housing but that of other players that created some truly amazing things. I will miss this game more than I can say.
all the best scifi mmos die early rip star wars galaxies rip wildstar the two best player housing mmos in history
Well maybe one day it can return. Maybe another team could pick it up and resurrect it
I enjoyed the game for a bit, but it had no endgame, and for some reason, the game lagged so bad, I was unable to play it.
Damn was thinking bout replaying wildstar this week, didn't know it's already closed, super sad about this, I've made so many friends in wildstar and it was one of the best MMOs i've played 🙁
I was at the start 🙁
fuck Fortnite and all the other loot box crap games.
Played this shit straight for 3,5 Years
I cried on the Last day of this game
Really sad…I played since beta testing and for a couple of years after release. Too bad they let the game get to the point it did…still holds a special place in my heart since I did have a lot of fun.
I played it, but couldn't get past the art style looking like disney vomit lol
44:25 that voice crack broke my heart man
What a great game. I had sooooo much fun on this game. The housing system was one of the first and we done so well. Everything about this game was a blast! I will miss it.
Fuck. I remember playing this game all the time. Damn. 🙁 I wish I could of logged on for this.
gotta love that music in the bacground 🙂
game made for piece of shit elitists, glad it died
And ppl called it "WoW Killer" hahahaha
So glad i took my time to complete 100% of missions on the dominion. Every one of em and even the settler and scientist missions all. Very good game. A masterart id say. Leaves an empty space into our minds but especially in our hearts.
damn, I was searching for so long for an MMOPG but I kinda ran over WildStar, and now I would love to play it but its gone… :/
So many other games deserves to be shut-down. Wildstar was not one of them. In my opinion wildstar was top 4 best mmo ever released. 1.Tibia 2. Wow 3.Runescape 4.Wildstar
NOOOO I WANTED TO PLAY THIS!!!!
Im crying right now RIP Wildstar
I think the mistake was partnering with NCSoft, they have a track record of letting good MMO's die. I remember being hyped for this game since a lot of the devs also worked on Classic WoW but the moment I saw they partnered with NCSoft it was obvious this was going to happen, just look at what they did to City of Heroes.
I so wish I could have got this new computer sooner to have played this
I was the pink Aurin in the background around 35:14. I played wildstar almost daily from f2p. This is the first video I’ve watched of this day since it happened, it was very traumatic for me. I was shaking as the server disconnected me. Even now the only reason I’m not completely going insane is the promise of private server that are in the works. Wildstar was my internet home. My friends, my adventures. So much. I’ve made long life friends there. This shut down felt so unfair for players like me. There were people crying in discord. I miss saying “night nexus”. But really my Brain is just telling me I’m on break.. until PS are up
I spent years wishing for a MMO with a cool housing system, then WildStar came and it was heaven. I loved everything about this game, the style, the humor, the quests, the tone, the animation… everything was so much to my liking. Sad seeing it go : (
I really loved a lot of things about this game, but as someone who doesnt have a lot of time, the game was just impossible for me. If they weren't so concerned with being "hardcore" the game would NOT have died.
WILDSTAR DID NOT DIE
IT WAS MURDERED
Millennials: "Free to play is all I'll play!"
2018: "ok, then bye! no funds to keep game development going. Cya!"
when will they learn lol
Reminds me of just how Dungeon Runners went out. It's really sad to see another great game killed by NCSoft.
Don't care for wildstar, but I just realised wow will one day die too…
damn.. i bought a new pc and wanted to start again on wildstar now it's been shut down such a waste of a good mmo 🙁
it wasn't the first MMO i played but it was my first and only MMO for me to get max level. I never really bothered to get max level in other MMOs just because i didn't enjoy them as much as Wildstar. Rest in backup drives, Wildstar
You guys should read Sam Noone's comment on nerdSlayer's video, Death of a Game: Wildstar. Sam Noone is a former wildstar dev and wrote a lenghty comment about why he thought the game was doomed.
Edit: The guy that made the double jump feature even chimed in in the comments.
I can't believe WildStar is gone… I remember waiting for this game for a year before it even made it to beta… I played all thru beta all thru opening… played it hardcore for first year and a bit… and for a game like that to just close down leaves a bit hole in my heart… I will never forget u… RIP WildStar…!!!
Was such a good game and was so disappointing:(
Im really going to miss my characters, feels like i lost a friend :. (
Always sad to see a mmo shutting off, especially when the game is not really bad. To be honest i, wanted to play this game from the start but i was not willed to pay a monthly fee and to buy the game itself. I wasnt alone with that view about it, all my friends felt the same, just 1 of em still tried it but also stopped after half a year. Later when game went f2p we gave it a try and it was fine, we really liked it but seeing all the negative hate and losing many players, we finally stopped after maxing a char and playing abit of endgame. I believe when this game came out as b2p without a monthly fee or just as f2p with ingame shop that doesnt influence and put advantages on players, this could have been more successfull. Well thanks for Video and have a nice day.
If things keep going as they are for Blizzard, WoW might be next unless they step up their game.
Wildstar deserved better.
