Today is the 5 year anniversary of this no hitter which should have been a perfect game.
Ese muchacho lo admiró, el sera salón de la fama, ya lo verán !!
Ese muchacho lo admiró, el sera salón de la fama, ya lo verán !!
The only person who doesn't think Tabata leaned into the pitch is Scherzer himself, who has said it was just a slider that didn't break as much as he wanted.
that at bat never fails to ruin my day
The 🐐
One of the 10 best Free agent signings in MLB history….He will be the 1st National Curly W in Cooperstown #alreadyalegend. Nothing but an honor and privilege to have watch him the last 6 years
4:08 the best play..
I have no dog in the fight but I don't see him leaning into that pitch….I do see a curveball that didn't have bite and backed up into the batter though. Many Nats fans in this comment section acting like the guy jumped in front of the pitch to get hit. Nope don't see it.
The best thing about this video right here is that there's very little FP Santangelo
Jose tapata is a f-ing idiot
That's for sure a no hitter why did he lean in
Stupid hitter to lean in on that pitch
totally leaned into that pitch… such a pity
Max Scherzer is and always will be my favorite pitcher of all time. Absolutely unhittable
I don’t care what the ump called, the pitch he leaned into was a strike so this was a perfect game.
And 4 years later they Max gets the win he deserves
What a idiot on the pirates
oh my god I was at this game! so annoyed when the guy got hit but AMAZING seeing a no hitter
I don’t think the guy leaned into the pitch
Who’s here after the Nats made the World Series, going through all the misery this team has had to endure in the past
Did he lean into it? Maybe.
However he certainly made 0 effort to get out of the way.
In my books it is a perfect game
Devils advocate here: Max still three that way too far inside and it was a terrible pitch to close the game with.
Jose Tabata did his job, stop crying clowns.
Scherzer and the Chocolate Factory.
Two words leaned in
Leaning into a pitch is a good way to get a REAL hbp next time you run into the same guy
You're looking at the next Roger Clemens without the roid rage
