I’m a crazy toner lady, I think that’s been well established! I love a good hydrating toner and I’ve tried a fair bit of them on my K-beauty journey. Often times I get asked what my favorite toners are and that’s a very hard choice to make! But I’ve managed to round up 5 of my current favorite hydrating toners, all are fragrance, alcohol and essential oil free, plus they’re all pH balanced!

  • I wish the Centella content of the Soon Jung line was written on the packaging as it's a huge selling point for me and my red skin! I think I'm going to try the emulsion, seems like a really nourishing, balancing formula.

  • Has everyone experience their skin gets clogged with the Tia'm Vita b5 toner? My combo/oily dehydrated skin looks like a teenager, but feels hydrated for the first time in a long time…. But it just breaks me out sooooo bad 🙁

  • Kelly! I've recently been binging your videos and am obsessed with your knowledge! i've recently been considering a K-Beauty switch! You are in fact the one and only toner queen! I feel like it's something that is never talked about! I've recently tried the first aid beauty wild oat toner which is new, and it's great but I'm still not loving the million things on the ingredient list. I could do better. I'm torn between a few of these that you have mentioned. I've got dry/combo that leans dry, ultra sensitive (yet acne prone lol), and recently weakened my moisture barrier so I can add dehydration on top of that. Lately my skin hasn't just been happy. I'm debating between the keep cool toner and the Tiam B5 toner, as far as treating that dehydration goes, which one would you recommend to start off with. I'm fairly new to toner too, so it's something i'm still experimenting with as far as what texture i love. I wear a lot of makeup most of the time so layering is important, but willing to go without to heal this barrier! Thank you thank you thank you for your videos, no one goes into this much detail!

  • hello, I have been looking for your videos for days and everything is so helpful, so first of all many thanks for your effort, time, knowledge and work on skincare, special Most barier 🤗👍❤. My wish list is getting longer and longer and some products have already been ordered. I have been dealing with low-irritation facial care for about 5 years and I have already achieved a lot with it. Korean skincare has also done a lot for me and I use a lot of Korean products, especially the great spf. However, I have a question, how do you feel about oils ? i personally like oils, most of all rose hipp oil and marula oil. you hardly talk about oils, do you not find them good or are they not good for moisture-barier problems? I actually always mix one of the two oils in my seren or moisturizer or just solo as the penultimate step in the routine. I would be interested in your opinion about oils, maybe a video idea. 🤗 lg from Germany

  • The Laneige one looks the most appealing to me, I have very dry skin and never get acne or oiliness, so I like thick products

  • I never comment on a video unless I’m asking a question but I just had to let you know that this is the best video I’ve seen about toners! You went into such detail about every product and explained it clearly and to the point! Going to subscribe!

  • Loved your comparison of your top fragrance free toners! It looks like most of them have humectants in them – will they be okay for those for combo dehydrated skin with a weakened barrier living in the Upper Midwest (dry climate)?

  • i love olivarrier toner & laneige cream skin. cream skin is moisturizing but not that hydrating compare to olivarrier's

  • Hi so do you use laneige cream skin refiner as a hydrating toner? Some people used it in the end of their skincare routine because of glowing effect. I’m confused 🙁

  • do you still like the rovectin or the ens toner? I am having such a hard time picking. I have combo acne prone skin that is dehydrated, but it gets more dehydrated and imbalanced due to my allergies flaring up and the change of seasons lol. So I def need a hydrating toner and would love your help narrowing it down to one or two.

  • Since you love toners so much, how do you use them? Do you go through periods using one at a time? Switch by season? Switch to whatever your skin feels like day to day? Switch whenever you finish a bottle?
Just wondering if you feel like switching around to different toners bothers your skin, or if you switch frequently to get different benefits.

  • Hi Kelly! My favorite so far is Benton Aloe BHA toner! It kills irritation/big red zits within HOURS of putting it on. 2% salicylic acid is too exfoliating/strong for me but this one has 0.5% which is perfect to reap its anti-inflammatory benefits!

It works even better than the azelaic acid cream I have and La roche posay’s zinc cica cream. I’m honestly shocked bc I have never had this sort of results from a toner before.

I always thought of them as just watered down thing that’s not really necessary but this one is REALLY good for my skin.

A few of the other toners I’ve tried are Hadalabo regular & premium, hadalabo shirojyun premium, pyung kang yul essence toner, thayers witch hazel, and others I can’t remember on top of my head.

I REALLY want to try the round lab soybean nourishing toner:
    http://m.jolse.com/product/round-lab-soybean-nourishing-toner-300ml/18929/

Which has really good reviews by korean reviewers. It looks pretty (lol) & idk why companies besides aveeno promote soybean extract as just for anti aging bc it’s a proven brightener as well, alongside licorice root extract.

I wanna try the sidmool’s madagascar toner too (https://incidecoder.com/products/sidmool-madagascar-centella-asiatica-toner), etude house soon jung (want to see how it measures up to benton’s), and keep cool bamboo toner and AH there are sooo many!!!
